Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Louise is a very sweet petite young beauty who is about 2 years old (estimated birth date 9/13/2022) with gorgeous green eyes. She is also an extremely smart girl who knew exactly what home to show up at on the 4th of July – this sweet baby was very clearly starving and had visible injuries and her rescuers couldn’t let her suffer. They took her in and brought her to the vet and did everything to get her in tip-top shape. She is in great health now and is ready for a new forever home.
Louise is a very playful, energetic girl who loves to run around and chase toys but she also has a cuddle bug side to her once she has worn herself out with playing and she will happily snuggle up on a warm lap. As both a playful and loving cat, she has some of the best traits to share with a new family.
Louise will likely do best in a home as an only cat. In her current foster home, she bothers the other resident cat and they need to be separated. When Louise is kept separated, she can get pretty vocal because of boredom and loneliness. She will definitely appreciate having someone available to give her regular attention and not have to be cooped up in a separate space because she wants to be where the action is.
She isn’t a huge fan of being brushed but will tolerate it. She makes what her foster mom calls “nervous biscuits” where she stands up, kneads quickly, and then darts away. It seems likely that when she gets comfortable in a new home, those “nervous biscuits” will just become normal, comfortable kneading. She also seems to be fine being picked up. When people visit, she is tentative but very curious and warms up pretty quickly once she knows she is safe.
Louise loves plastic balls and springs, and she is a master at playing fetch with her toy mice. She will go to her new home with some of her favorite toys, two small beds, a scratching post, litter box, and food for a good start in a new home with things she is comfortable with. She is super curious and inquisitive. Although she has never lived with children, her foster parents think she would love to have children to play with who understand cat boundaries and that she would bond very quickly to anyone who shows her love, affection and kindness.
Can you make room in your heart and home for this little sweetheart with the most adorable crooked grin?
