My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

If you are looking for a cuddle companion, you are in LUCK! Look no further than the sweet Gracie. She is an 11-year-old Chihuahua and 7.5 pounds of pure cuddler, and is happiest on your lap or snuggled under a blanket. She does fine with other dogs and cats, but children are not her thing. Gracie is pad trained, spayed, current on vaccinations, heart worm negative and microchipped. To apply to give this sweetheart a home, visit our website at www.handsofhoperescue.com and fill out an application today! (Petfinder is not an application)

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

We require an adoption application to be filled out. www.handsofhoperescue.com/adoptapp We will interview all potential adopters and set up a home visit. We will do reference checks and make sure this is the right dog for you. A final contract will then be signed by adopter.

Go meet their pets

Since we are a foster based rescue, you will need to contact us about our available dogs up for adoption. We do hope to have adoption events in the future at different locations.

More about this rescue

We are a new rescue, we are working on our 501C3, have our Kansas State Tax Exempt status and will have Federal soon. We save dogs from Kansas and surrounding states that are set for euthanization, are in high kill shelters, or are surrendered by owners who cannot keep them anymore. We are FOSTER HOME BASED ONLY and do not have a kennel, so all of the dogs we take are kept in a home to be loved by a foster family. We are a group of people who want to make a difference once dog at a time.
