My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Age: 2 years
Weight: 3.89 kg

Come and meet Midge described as a very personable cat - sweet and vocal. She loves attention and wants to play. She is very much a people-cat. She gets so excited when people come to visit and has so much to say! While Midge was in foster she was found to be excellent at puzzles! She loves to sprawl over the mat and bat the pieces around. She is a wonderful and entertaining companion. Midge is an incredibly affectionate and friendly cat. She is outgoing in seeking attention now, and especially loves chin/cheek scratches and belly rubs. She also loves to play! Midge loves to play with wands daily, and she is an excellent hunter of toys. Come and see if Midge would fit into your family today.

More about this shelter

CONNECTING LIVES SINCE 1922

From our earliest beginning, Calgary Humane Society was more than a shelter. As Calgary’s first-established animal welfare organization, connecting the lives of animals and people while providing essential animal services to the community remains our central priority.

Today, Calgary Humane Society (CHS) shelters almost 5,000 homeless animals each year. In 1922 we set out to help as many animals as we can and we will continue to do so by fostering the values of respect, compassion, commitment, teamwork, integrity and innovation.

Our mission is to help as many animals as we can.

Our vision is using innovative strategies to lead, inspire, and educate in the humane treatment of companion animals, fostering an enlightened community that consistently demonstrates respect and compassion for all animals.

Our dream is a community where animals are valued, humanely treated, and live enriched lives.

Calgary Humane Society is committed to creating a better tomorrow through education and collaboration.
