My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi there, I’m Korrie. I’m a classic tabby beauty, gray and brown with distinct black stripes. I’ve got a pencil-eraser nose and luminous green eyes, and I'm a petite gal overall. I’m young, maybe 1-2 years old, and yes, I still like to play. I enjoy wand toys, kicker toys, and looking out of big windows. Falling leaves are entertainment in themselves, and I’m there for it!

I’m very skilled at one particular game; it’s called “fake out the humans.” I can sit very demurely, and you’d think I was a shy girl, not interested in attention. Ha! The minute you reach out and start petting me, I make a fool of myself. I like chin and cheek rubs and forehead scratches and long strokes down my back. I purr, make biscuits, and follow your hand with my head to get more. The scritches on my shoulder blades, wow, that’s amazing! And of course, I do “elevator butt” like the best of them.

I haven’t decided about being carried around or sitting on laps, though I’m most certainly fine with love and affection. As far as other animals, I’d likely be okay with another cat companion, as there were resident cats in my foster home. I’m used to hearing a resident dog barking as well, so maybe I’d be open to living with a pup, too.

If you aren’t already intrigued by my finer qualities, I’ve got one more little quirk. I’ve got a curl in my tail, the tiniest little bend, and it looks like I’m beckoning to you. I was probably born like this and who knew such a random thing could be so cute? I’m Little Miss Tail Twist, ready for the next phase of my life, so let’s talk!

Adoption fee is a minimum $85 per cat donation to Feral Fixers. All cats are up to date on shots, microchipped, dewormed, fixed, and FeLV/FIV negative. Discounted adoption fee if two cats are adopted together, $150 for a pair. Brief screening questionnaire and contract apply! Please email gotfriendlies@feralfixers.org or call (630) 881-7459 for more information.

More about this rescue

Feral Fixers is dedicated to the Trap, Neuter & Return (TNR) of feral cats within DuPage county. As part of our mission, we also rescue friendly cats and kittens that have been abandoned outside.
