🌱 My Story:
Good day! I'm Bijou. Nice to meet you all! I'm 3 years old, 12.25kg, healthy, up to date with vaccination, neutered, microchipped for a healthy start in my new adventure. My sleek cow-patterned coat, mixed with black and white, is truly a picture of elegance. I know. I look very outstanding. I was originally adopted to a family in Korea, but they abandoned me as they thought I was growing up too big. I was also on an euthanasia list but luckily got rescued.
I'm a bit shy in the beginning, but you know what? Once I break the ice, I'll not only let you rub my belly but also lift me up! So please just give me sufficient time for me to open up my heart. I find it easier to open up when I'm indoor.
I easily get along with other furry friends! I think I'm usually good with friends that are about my size or smaller. Oh, and I usually play well with friends that are not too energetic as my energy is just about medium level. Maybe that’s why after my walk, I like to sit and rest peacefully. Speaking of walk, I'm still learning how to walk properly. If I pull the leash or suddenly stop during my walk, please be patient with me. I also get scared of loud noise and vehicles. I could bolt!!! So please allow me to start walking in a quiet environment. As I practice my walk, I'm sure I could get better so please bear with me! Not only my walk, but please also train me with car rides. Not only the loud noises, but car rides also frighten me a bit. So please hold me during my car rides until I get used to it. Cats? Oh, yes. I've seen them. Yeah, they looked cute but it's hard to say whether I like or hate them. Children? Well, I don’t feel comfortable being with children that are loud. I think it’d suit me better to get adopted to a family that are calm and quiet.
Well, that was a bit of my self-introduction. Would you be the one to complete my tale of transformation? I'm waiting to bring warmth and joy to you home. For details, please contact my team!

Adopt Jindo Rescue is the sister rescue to Adopt Korean Rescue and Welcome Dog Korea
Business number (BN) | 711181156 RC0001
We are against the slaughter and consumption of dogs in Korea.
In Korea, there are many dogs that are kept in overcrowded cages in dog-meat facilities. They are sent to the market after being tortured to death. Although the consumption of dog meat is increasingly controversial and the vast majority of younger generations do not believe in dog meat, there are still many dogs that need to be rescued from farms and streets on which they have been abandoned/mistreated by humans.
