My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

Meet Mimi, the Doberman Who’s All Ears—Literally!

Introducing Mimi, the purebred Doberman puppy who is already turning heads with her one-of-a-kind look! Born at the end of July 2024, Mimi didn’t quite get the memo that Dobermans are supposed to have sleek, elegant ears. Instead, she rocks a pair of wrinkly, wiggly ear flaps that make her stand out in any crowd of Dobies. At some point early in life, Mimi developed hematomas in her ears that left a bit of scar tissue, giving her that unique, 'just rolled out of bed' ear style. But don’t worry—her ears don’t bother her, her hearing is perfect, and there’s no need for any medical intervention. This is just Mimi’s signature look! Think of it as her superpower: she’s not like every other Doberman, and she’s proud of it!

Now, let’s get to know the real Mimi beyond those fabulous ears. This little girl is a dynamo in the making, and like any young pup, she’s got some things to learn. Potty training? Crating? Basic manners? Yep, she’s working on it all, and she needs a dedicated life coach to guide her along the way. Mimi’s a social butterfly and absolutely thrives with other dogs. If you’ve got a friendly, tolerant pup who’s up for some snuggles and playtime, Mimi would love a fur sibling! She’s not too keen on being alone and prefers a family (human and dog alike) to help her learn the ropes.

At 8 weeks old, Mimi’s already weighing in at 10.5 pounds, and she’s destined to grow into a full-sized Doberman Pinscher, tipping the scales at 75-100 pounds. So, if you’re dreaming of adding this adorable, highly trainable, and loveable puppy to your family, please make sure you’re ready for all the fun (and responsibility) that comes with a large-breed working dog.

Mimi is ready to wiggle her way into your heart—and your home! Are you up for the challenge of being her forever life coach?

Additional adoption info

Filling out an application is the first step. An online application is located on Haven to Home's homepage. Application, references, home visit and adoption fee are required to adopt one of our dogs. Due to the severe overpopulation of dogs in this country Haven to Home believes that responsible pet owners have their pets spayed or neutered. Therefore it is our policy not to adopt our dogs to people who do not have their current animals spayed or neutered unless there is a medical reason. Adoption fees are listed on our website.
