My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Yay! You clicked on me! See I'm a sweet, funny, and maybe a bit mischievous little girl but I'm also a bit shy with people I don't know, so I'm going to need you to make the first move and show me you're one of the good ones. Foster Mom says it doesn't take long before my worried face melts away and my tail starts to wag endlessly. She says I'm the perfect mix of puppy energy and adult chill. I love playing outside especially if there's a ball; soccer balls & rubber balls as big as my head are my favorite! I like to chase them and tackle them and sometimes I run so fast, I flip right over them! Inside, my favorite toys have treats in them and I can nose them around and chew on them while you work, so I don't distract you.
Reasons why you should submit an application for me ASAP: I'm a great size and not planning to get much bigger. I have a great personality AND I'm cute, I mean look at me. How could you not fall in love with me? I HAVE SKILLS: I am housetrained and I will come to you when I need to go. I can sit on command. I take treats nicely. I can almost wait for permission to eat after my dish is put on the floor. I can sleep in a crate without fuss; though I prefer to have my own beddie near you. I'm working on my leash skills; bunnies & squirrells make me nuts; but I like pretty anyone I meet. I'm a chewer, LOVE my chew toys, but haven't chewed a single thing in the house that wasn't mine; though I may take some of your things. I will help maintain your work life balance by occasionally taking your things when I decide you need a cardio break to chase me around the house. I'm curious about everything, so whatever you're doing, I'm there! I'm happy to be free & loved and excited for my future and sometimes I'm so excited I'm a little rambunctious. I'm also a gentle loving girl, ever grateful to be romping on this side of the rainbow.

My dream life includes:
- a playmate! Fur or human or both...living with two senior siblings is a drag.
- a place to run with a ball the size of my head, of course!
- toys & treats & a soft bed & most of all a family that will love me & keep me forever and ever no matter what.
- you

More about this rescue

P3 is a united rescue effort to both save pitties and support veterans. At P3 we LOVE Pitties & we LOVE & RESPECT our Veterans! 2800 Pitties & Pittie Mixes are euthanized in overcrowded shelters every day, over 1 million every year. 22 Veterans commit suicide every day, over 8,030 per year. At P3 we find these numbers UNACCEPTABLE! P3 was created in March of 2024 with the goal of rescuing Pit Bulls and Pit Bull mixes from overcrowded shelters where they are at risk of euthanasia and providing the necessary training for them to provide emotional support, nightmare alerts, and pressure therapy during episodes of anxiety and stress so they can be paired with a Veteran struggling with PTSD reducing the risk of Veteran suicide. While we support our Veterans, our rescue is not limited to the placement of service dogs for Veterans only. Our Veterans program is only one aspect of what we do. We want to help EVERY pittie find the perfect furever family!
