Hi! My name is Suni and I'm looking for a loving home to call my own!
I've been at the shelter since June 19th.
I am a energetic, bouncy and happy-go-lucky lady that has lots of energy when I meet new friends. I found my way to the shelter as a stray, I was left tied up by a public bathroom. Because of that, staff doesn't know too much about my background. Staff thinks I am around two years old based off of my energy level and general demeanor.
I don't know too many commands, so I could benefit from some training. I have met another dog at the shelter and didn't mind them too much. I did eventually become overwhelmed and wanted to be done playing with my high energy buddy, so I could potentially get along with a calmer canine friend. Staff is unsure how I behave around cats or kids.
My ideal home would be active (preferably with a fenced in yard so I can run around), and willing to invest time in training me so I can be the best girl possible.
If you are interested in adopting me, please visit Animal Allies at 4006 Airport Road or you can call the Adoption Team at 218-722-5341 as early as 10:30 AM and place a nonrefundable $25 hold towards my adoption fee to put you first in-line to adopt! Our adoption team is available via phone Tuesday-Saturday from 10:30am-6:00pm and Sunday 10:30am-4:00pm. Our adoption process is first come first serve.
SUNI'S ADOPTION FEE: $325 plus tax. This fee is used for the extensive costs associated with vetting and otherwise caring for Suni and future pets at our shelter. Every adopter from Animal Allies receives a pet that has been spayed or neutered, fully vaccinated, and microchipped. Our pets also receive dental work or other treatments when necessary. In addition, Animal Allies provides free lifetime post-adoption counseling to help with any behavioral issues or concerns you may have for your new pet!

Animal Allies has variable adoption fees. A higher adoption fee does not mean that we value a particular animal over another; it is simply a matter of supply and demand. Animals that are in higher demand and are adopted quickly have higher adoption fees, which then create a financial legacy for the animals that stay in our care for a longer period of time.
CAT ADOPTION FEES
Cat and kitten fees range from $25 to $255. Please see the individual pet descriptions for detailed adoption fees and information. Feline adoption fees include: microchip and registration, medical exam, age-appropriate vaccinations, spaying/neutering, fecal exam, and feline leukemia/FIV testing.
DOG ADOPTION FEES
The adoption fees for dogs and puppies range from $75 to $525. Please see the animal descriptions for individual adoption fees. Fees for dogs are based on a number of factors such as age, size, breed, or temperament. Canine adoption fees include: microchip and registration, medical exam, age-appropriate vaccinations, spaying/neutering, fecal exam, flea and tick treatments, and heartworm testing.
Animal Allies accepts cash, money orders, and VISA/MC/Discover. Adoption fees are subject to a Duluth sales tax rate of 8.875%. As a convenience for Duluth residents we are able to assist with your license application at the time of adoption. The City of Duluth pet licenses are available for $12.50 per year. Hermantown licenses are available at the time of adoption for a $12 fee. License fees are in addition to adoption fees.
