My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Please consider sponsoring a cat. For a little as $10 a month you can help us help more animals in need.

This is Pepper who is an incredibly sweet Chi-Terrier mix who was born in Christmas day. She is a snuggle bug and howls when she is lonely; gets along with most dogs and is curious about cats. She is innocent and sweet, curious and fun to play with. Pepper knows her name and a few commands.

Pepper requires a fenced-in yard and a playmate. We do not want her in a home that plans to crate her, for any length of time.
Pepper’s adoption fee is $150.

Prior to meeting or adopting any of our wonderful animals, we ask that you please fill out our online Adoption Application on our website aaFlorida.org/adopt.  There is a link on the top of the home page. Click on "Fill in", you don't have to register.  For more information about this pet or any others, you can contact us at Adoptions@aaFlorida.org.  We are a foster organization and don't have set hours we are open - but we will gladly set up an appointment for you to meet any pet.  Of course, you're under no obligation to adopt if you come to meet any of our fabulous friends.

Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.

More about this rescue

We are an all volunteer organization saving lives in the Florida Panhandle through adoption, spay/neuter and TNR of community cats.

We are always in need of foster homes and volunteers. If you find a kitty or dog and are willing to foster it - we can help you find it a furever home. Can't foster or adopt right now, help socialize kittens. The more people the kittens are exposed to the better is for them. We can always use volunteers. Work from home, work directly with animals, or work non-directly with animals helping us raise money or distributing fliers.

PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE spay or neuter your pets! Escambia County pound puts down over 1,000 animals a month! Through spay/neuter we can reduce that number.
