My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Sally, the enchanting black kitten who's ready to stitch her way into your heart. This little doll is overflowing with love and playful energy!

Sally may not be able to predict the future, but she knows one thing for certain – she's destined to be your perfect companion. With a coat as dark as a moonless night in Halloween Town, this spirited feline brings a touch of magic to every room she enters.

Sally is an adventurous delight – she'll pounce, play, and purr her way through your days, turning ordinary moments into extraordinary memories. When playtime is over, she'll happily curl up beside you, proving that sometimes the best love stories start with a little bit of spooky.

Ready to add a dash of whimsy to your life? Adopt Sally today, and let her weave her spell of affection around your home. After all, in the words of her namesake, "We're simply meant to be!"

Adoption note: Sally has a special bond with her brother Jack Skellington. To ensure their continued happiness and well-being, they will be adopted out together. This will help ensure they have a familiar playmate and constant companion in their new home.

To ask about Sally and Jack Skellington, please contact us by directly by calling 847-338-3252 or emailing info@redemptionroadinc.org.

Bonded Pair Policy: Kittens born in even-numbered litters are adopted out in pairs to promote healthy socialization and provide companionship, which is especially critical for the wellbeing of indoor-only pets. This policy was developed through extensive research and hands-on experience, including observing behavioral patterns. Thank you for understanding.

More about this rescue

Rescue, Retrain, Redeem, and Re-home.
Redemption Road Rescue Rehab Inc (aka R4) is a 501(c)(3), not-for-profit organization based in Lake County, Illinois. R4 functions as an all-breed and ages, dog and cat rescue that specializes in behavioral training and rehabilitation. We are a professionally operated nonprofit dog and cat rescue run by certified dog trainers. We believe the solution to “difficult” animals cannot just be euthanasia. Our mission is to place dogs and cats that have undergone our rehabilitation program with responsible, reliable, and devoted owners. Our training specialty is centered in dog behaviors and understanding the canine mind. We take in all breeds, all ages and work with domesticated felines and feral cat colonies as well. Our expectations of adopters: 1- Consider the animal as an individual with their own personality and behaviors. 2- Be willing to learn, ask questions, and implement training into their daily routine. 3- Work alongside our team to prepare their home to provide the best environment for their new family member. R4 is 100% volunteer-run and foster-based and relies on donations, fundraisers, grants, and sponsorships to allow our organization to fulfill our mission to animals in need.
