Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
In New Kent
Hi my name is Gin!(DOB 6/9/24) I’m a softie and will melt your heart. I like lots of love, cuddles, and belly rubs. I’m partially blind because of double merle breeding. I can hear well and go to my foster mom when she calls me. I like playing in the yard with my sister Dora, but I really like to be around my family the most.
My mom is an Australian Shepherd and my dad is an Aussiedoodle. Currently, it is unknown whether I have the hypo-allergenic or non-shedding poodle coat or the constantly shedding aussie coat. My tail is a gorgeous white plume! I have curly hair and I’m mostly white with blue eyes. My foster mom says I have really cute ears, and I remind her of a teddy bear.
I’m still leaning manners and working on potty training, but I’m still a baby. I need to go out frequently, so someone needs to be home most of the day. I’m working on crate training too. I have not been able to go on walks yet because I’m not finished with my puppy shots.
I am a good boy with children too! I have so much love to give! My foster mom is really going to miss me when I find my new home.
I am up to date on my vaccinations and on preventatives to date, though I still need 1 more series to be safe outside of the yard. My human will need to sign a spay/neuter contract and give a refundable deposit to ensure that I am spayed when I am old enough.
I’m looking for a human who will partner with me to help me navigate this world! I may have future medical needs so the ability to keep me in tip top shape is important. Since my sight is limited, I need to slowly learn the layout of a new home and new routine. It would be best for me if my human was home most of the time. A fenced yard is an absolute must to keep me safe!
If I sound perfect for you, please fill out the application:
There is an additional $20 microchip fee which includes registration and transfer to my new furever family and a REFUNDABLE $50 neuter deposit that will be refunded upon proof of procedure.
All adoption fees are used for future rescue efforts.
