Meet Elsa! She is a sweet two-year-old Hound/Chihuahua mix who recently gave birth to seven puppies. She is an excellent mother and has taken great care of them all. She is very nurturing and caring. She loves to cuddle and enjoys being around people. She has a calm and wise energy about her. Her eyes tell a story of a strong mama dog who loved her babies well and is now ready for her forever home and to be loved on since she did such a good job of taking care of others.

Elsa loves to spend time in the back yard sniffing around or napping in the sunlight. She loves treats and will work on her commands to earn them. She is wonderful with children and kind to other dogs. She would thrive in a home with someone who would love a companion dog who is mellow and calm and just wants to be loved on. Additional adoption info

We require an application, application approval, meet and greet, home check, adoption fee and a contract.

2 months -12 months: $425
1 year - 6 years $375
7 years+ - $325

Adoption fee includes :

Shots up to date of adoption, wellness exam, fecal test,
Spay/neuter, Micro-chip and any other medical needed.

We also require to stay first on the micro-chip info for life and have a life time return policy on all our rescue dogs adopted out.

Unfortunately, we do not adopt out of state under any circumstances. We recommend that you visit your local shelter or dog rescues in your area if you are looking to adopt.

I.C.A.R.E. is an all breed, no kill dog rescue. We rescue dogs at risk of being euthanized from shelters, abandoned, abused, and stray dogs. We also rescue many owner surrendered dogs; which are dogs that can no longer remain in their current homes due to financial or personal issues. I.C.A.R.E. Dog Rescue is dedicated to reducing the number of dogs that are euthanized in our shelters each and everyday. We focus on rescuing and rehabilitating them in loving foster homes until they are adopted into their permanent homes. We also focus on educating the public regarding specific breeds, rescue, and general information regarding the canine species. We are a 100% volunteer run and supported organization that cannot survive without the help of loving fosters, volunteers, and benefactors.
