Take the Pet Home
Gremlin alert! Adorableeeeeee!
Meet Aggie! This little punkin' came to us from less than ideal conditions, living in squalor in someone's backyard, without any interaction or attention given to her.
She is one+ year old now and safe with us. It is clear she was not treated kindly. Aggie is an endearing little girl. She is very timid and will look at you a bit fearfully with her big buggy gremlin eyes.
She is so keen on making a connection though and finds adorable ways to do it, like sneaking up to nibble on your clothes, giving your hands a quick kiss when she is feeling brave.
She likes it when you invite her to play - she loves to play. She will need time to fully trust people but she will get there. Aggie's back legs are a bit deformed, born this way. Her knees are locked in place and her knee caps essentially are non-functional. She gets around very well and is not in pain.
She runs, plays, have zoomies all the time. She absolutely loves playing with other dogs, big or small. It is so cute to see her tussle with them. She can't jump on surfaces (like couches or beds) and will struggle with stairs. We had her evaluated by an orthopedic surgeon and unfortunately any surgery is not likely to succeed and can possible make her situation worse.
We hope someone will love her just the way she is. And she is just wonderful. Aggie will need a home with a yard. Longer walks will be hard for her but puttering and playing in the yard is perfect for her.
Due to her timid nature, a home with older kids (over 10) is best for her. Aggie is vaccinated, chipped and spayed.
Aggie is vaccinated, chipped and spayed. Her adoption fee is $450
We cover the medical to prepare the pet for adoption and the adopt donations go directly to cover those costs and range from $295-$495. Thank you for stepping up to save a life!
To expedite to meet with this dog, please go to our site at www.savinggreatanimals.org and fill out an application. We look at the first applications to arrive, so we hope to hear from you soon!
