Hi there! I'm Edward, but you can call me Eddie.Your future best friend. I'm still a puppy, almost 3 months old.Full of life and love to share. I'm sweet as sugar and friendly to everyone I meet.
I love to play with my foster sister, she plays tug of war with me all the time.
I love to play, and I'm learning how to play fetch and its so much fun.
I love Belly rubs, like really love them.
My favorite treats are carrots.

My foster Mom calls me a good boy all the time.

I have been learning to walk on a leash, its nice to walk around the neighborhood and experience new things.
I am a curious boy, always exploring.

My foster Mom says I am a great companion.

She tells me this is my temporary home until my forever family finds me.
So I guess I am just waiting patiently for you to find me.

Their adoption process

1.
Submit Application

If you see an animal you would like to meet, complete our online application. You will receive an email with the next steps.

2.
Meet the Pet

Visit the facility where the animal is located. If in foster care, the foster will set up a time to meet with you.

3.
Sign Adoption Contract

One of our adoption counselors will review the animal's medical history and walk you through the paperwork.

4.
Pay Fee

Our adoption fees include spay/neuter, vaccinations and microchip.

5.
Take the Pet Home

Once the adoption process is complete, you can bring your furry friend home!

Our mission is to provide the programs and services needed to eliminate the killing of at-risk animals due to lack of space, adopter or foster.

San Antonio Pets Alive! is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization. Due to alarming euthanasia rates, San Antonio Pets Alive! (SAPA!) was founded in 2012. SAPA! is unique—it is the only high paced, high-volume rescue in San Antonio, saving 6,000 at-risk cats and dogs annually.

Since its inception, SAPA! has saved more than 47,000 dogs and cats. SAPA! provides safety nets for the dogs and cats that fall through the cracks of all other lifesaving options and end up on the euthanasia lists, often with just hours to be saved. SAPA! promotes the availability of these dogs and cats to other rescues, adopters and fosters.
