My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Animal Profile: Bonnie is an estimated 2-year-old 32 lb (underweight) female Doberman with natural ears and a docked tail who was a stray intake to the shelter along with Clyde; they were both fearful at intake but have become staff favorites. They show good social skills sharing a kennel with multiple other dogs. She will be arriving to foster care and we will share more info as we get to know her.

Foster Update:

Bonnie, affectionately called Sassy by her foster fam, is a very petite girl at 35lbs! She is settling in well, is sweet as can be, and has become a world class snuggler! She loves to play with her squeaky toys, go for walks, and be around her people. She is incredibly smart and eager to learn! She learned sit and down the first time around, has good recall, is eager to please, knows the word NO and listens well! She warms up quickly to strangers both men and women, is playful and would be considered slightly dominant but good with other dogs. She is sleeping well in her crate thru the night. She is newly house trained and would benefit from a yard and doggie door as she likes to go outside and would be helpful with supporting her house training. She is happy entertaining herself with her toys or snuggling up on the couch with her person. She walks (or shall I say "prances") well on a leash. It is just adorable! Bonnie has spent some time around our young niece, and was friendly and well behaved. We think she will be a great family dog.
