Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Tank Tenor entered Bonita Shelter as a stray, but sadly, despite having microchip, he was not claimed. The shelter shared that he did great with other dogs there, and we scooped him up on October 1st to become a Frosted Face. Tank is 8 years old, weighs 68 lbs., and is sweet and friendly.
Tank loves going our weekly FFF hikes, and he has good energy and stamina. He walks close to 3 miles in 1 hour! And just as the shelter said, Tank is doing great in play groups with other dogs here. He is one of our MOST social dogs on-site and gets along with everyone!
Tank went on a special outing to Julian with a volunteer and earned a rave review for being a very social and fun companion. She shared afterwards:
"Tank the man! We went to Julian for the day, and boy, does he like to be around people. And they love him right back! Tank enjoyed being on Main St. where the action was and get all the pets! We had a nice lunch outdoors where he gobbled a burger.
Tank is strong on a leash, but before we left FFF, another volunteer helped me fit him for a harness, and he did much better. Tank was great in the car, and after the initial excitement of going for a ride, he settled in and took a nap. He was even snoring at one point! What a friendly, lovable guy Tank is."
To meet this handsome guy, stop by between 10:00 am and 3:00 pm any day of the week. We look forward to seeing you soon!
