Meet Sesame – your soon-to-be snuggle buddy and playtime partner! This adorable 1-year-old Lhasa Apso mix weighs in at a petite 24 pounds but has a heart full of love and fun. Sesame is appears to be house trained, though a few transitional accidents should be expected. She’s the perfect passenger princess during car rides—calm, cool, and collected!

Treats and bones? Sesame lives for them! While she’s still discovering the joy of toys, the moment she met a squeaky one, it was love at first squeak. You’ll often find her zooming around, bouncing with joy as she plays with her new favorite squeakers. She also loves a good outdoor adventure but, when the fun is done, her favorite place to be is curled up on the couch, watching the world from her comfy perch.

Sesame is a great listener, already mastering "sit" like a pro, and she’s quick to warm up to new friends—just ask the staff, who are completely smitten with her quiet, gentle nature. If you’re searching for a mix of sweet snuggles and playful energy, Sesame is your perfect match, ready to make your home complete with her lovable personality!

Her minimum adoption fee is $ 400 plus a $15 fee, if 4 months or older, for rabies registration for McLean County residents.

She has been spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm checked, dewormed, and is on flea and heartworm preventatives.

Wish Bone Canine Rescue rehabilitates and re homes dogs. We are a not-for-profit, no-kill organization located in Central Illinois, whose primary focus is to find responsible, loving and permanent homes for the surrendered, abandoned, neglected or abused dogs from within our community. We do not discriminate based on a dog’s breed, age or health . We are a foster home based rescue; however, we also have a facility where dogs are cared for until foster placement or adoption.
