My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Walter, a 5-year-old Miniature Poodle with a heart as fluffy as his coat. At 14 pounds, he may be small, but his charm is bound to fill your home with warmth. Though a little shy at first, once Walter feels comfortable, he blossoms into the sweetest companion who loves nothing more than being close to his people. He’s content just hanging out in the house, always by your side, whether it's for a leisurely stroll around the yard or a cozy afternoon nap.

Walter is well-behaved and house trained, though he might have a tiny accident here and there—nothing a bit of patience can’t handle! He sleeps wherever he likes, finding the perfect spot to settle in, and while he’s not overly active, he enjoys brief walks and relaxing yard time. He also gets along wonderfully with dogs of all sizes, and while his exposure to children has been limited, his calm and friendly nature suggests he would be great with kids of any age.

This little guy is a dream on the leash, loves car rides, and is more than happy to curl up in your lap for some snuggles. Walter is starting to get the hang of treats and toys, but his favorite thing is simply being near you. With his gentle, laid-back demeanor, he’s the perfect blend of reserved and loving, loyal to the core, and always ready to make you smile.

Walter would thrive in just about any home, where he can feel safe and loved. If you're looking for a loyal little friend who will bring joy and comfort into your life, Walter is ready to be your perfect match!

His minimum adoption fee is $350 plus a $15 fee, if 4 months or older, for rabies registration for McLean County residents.

He has been neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm checked, dewormed, and is on flea and heartworm preventatives.
