Reason for Foster: Heartworm Positive & Heart Murmur

Foster Time Frame: 4+ Weeks

Foster Care Plan: Lavi is currently being treated for heartworm disease and a heart murmur. She will first complete 30 days of antibiotics to prepare for her heartworm treatment, which will occur in two scheduled appointments: the first on 12/25 and the second on 1/24. During her heartworm treatment, it's essential to keep her calm and avoid activities that may increase her heart rate. We will provide a medical consultation and additional information on heartworm treatment at your pickup appointment.

Foster to Adopt: Lavi is available through our Foster to Adopt program, which allows pets awaiting or undergoing medical treatment to be placed with prospective adopters before they are made available for adoption.
