My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Lavi is an adorable little pup that is looking for a loving foster home to recover in. Lavi is friendly, loves to explore, and is very curious. She loves to go on short walks! While this sweet girl is adventurous, she can also chill and relax on a bench or in a cozy bed.

Reason for Foster: Heartworm Positive & Heart Murmur

Foster Time Frame: 4+ Weeks

Foster Care Plan: Lavi is currently being treated for heartworm disease and a heart murmur. She will first complete 30 days of antibiotics to prepare for her heartworm treatment, which will occur in two scheduled appointments: the first on 12/25 and the second on 1/24. During her heartworm treatment, it’s essential to keep her calm and avoid activities that may increase her heart rate. We will provide a medical consultation and additional information on heartworm treatment at your pickup appointment.

Foster to Adopt: Lavi is available through our Foster to Adopt program, which allows pets awaiting or undergoing medical treatment to be placed with prospective adopters before they are made available for adoption. If you are interested in becoming a foster, please visit https://www.operationkindness.org/foster/ or email us at foster@operationkindness.org to learn more.
