My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Bullhead’s volunteer fans think that once he’s adopted, a name change is in order. Some names they’ve thrown around include: “Smooshy Face,” “Squishy Lips,” “Snuggle Butt,” “Flappy Gums,” and “Velvet Ears.” If you take this gorgeous, shmooshiest boy home, the choice is yours!

Volunteers can’t get enough of this velveteen house hippo- here’s what a few have said about him:

“Bullhead has a big blockhead (my fave) and walks quite nicely on a leash in the park. He has soft ears and very flappy gum flaps - he let me squish his squishy face in my hands. He takes treats gently and is learning to “sit.” He’s brave enough to climb on a picnic table for snuggles and photos.”

“Bullhead is a really sweet boy. He enjoyed treats and pets as we headed out on our walk. He was a lovely loose leash walker! We stopped under a tree for pictures and treats, which he took gently. He is very people-oriented and seeks out affection. I got his attention easily by calling to him and he sat down in my lap. Bullhead has a cute crooked tail and is absolutely gorgeous. He’s got smooshy jowls, and he was very tolerant of me mushing them. He`s stunning.”

Bullhead would like to meet any potential furry roommates before heading home to ensure a good fit. If you’re looking to add a “Cuddle Bootie,” “Treat-o-tastic,” “Best Boy Ever” to your home, come meet Bullhead today!
