Bailey is ready for adoption! She is currently in professional training with Dog House Behavioral and Obedience Training LLC learning how to walk well on a leash, introducing basic commands, such as sit, down, stay and "door control" and practicing her socialization. She does well with children and enjoys being with other dogs. She shares toys nicely and is crate and house trained. Bailey loves going for walks and would make an excellent outdoor walking / hiking / adventure partner! She is a bit shy with newcomers, but freely gives hugs to those friends she knows well! Bailey would do best with a fenced yard as she does have Hound in her breed mix and she loves to sniff around! She's the perfect size at around 38 pounds - not too small, not too large! Blue Ridge Animal Rescue staff has decades of experience in the animal and medical industry and is adamant about matching the adoptable animal with the appropriate family environment. Each animal is reviewed individually for their specific needs and matched accordingly. We are a newly founded rescue and in the process of obtaining our 501(c)(3) standing. We are excited to start this process and already have animals in the program in search of committed, loving homes!
