My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, my name is Coal! I am searching for my forever family and I am hoping I can fill someone`s stocking this Christmas with... well, me! I went on a Paw Pass Adventure recently where my foster family RAVED about how good I am. I met their 8-month old lab mix and after a slow introduction, we became friends! I walk well on a leash and some consistent training can help me become an even better walking companion. My foster family describes me as friendly and affectionate! I like to be a couch potato as long as someone sits with and pets me. I am the king of lounging! In the past, I have been around kids, dogs, and cats and have done well. However, please bring ALL members of your family (kids, dogs, adults; please do not bring your cats, you`ll have to slowly introduce me to them at home!) to meet with me so we can make sure it is a good fit for everyone. Ready to make my Christmas wish come true? You can meet me at the SPCA Cincinnati shelter at 11900 Conrey Road any day of the week from 12p-6p.

*ALL members of your immediate family must be present when meeting with our dogs. If you have another dog, please bring them with you so we can ensure a good fit!
