My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Flash is a transport from Asheville who was surrendered when his owner passed before the hurricane. He is a fancy fellow - just look at that tux and those shiny whiskers - who knows how to make himself at home! Initially he was a little awkward at giving love - he only seemed to know how to headbutt! He is learning the art of cuddling, the belly scratches that come from rolling over and just how much more of the world you can see perched in the arms of a person than from the floor! Flash will check in with you and your open lap regularly while he surveys a room, settling in only once he's checked everything out thoroughly. He is comfortable with cats and a medium-sized dog. This young man has lots of energy to play and love to give! He will enjoy being an only cat or the newest addition to your tribe! If you ever can't find him, look under the blankets of your bed - that is his favorite place for a long, restorative nap!
