For Adopt a Pet and the PEDIGREE® brand, October is all about finding homes for dogs in shelters. Adopt this month for a PEDIGREE® Wet Food Pouch and a chance to win a Homecoming-style photo shoot and shelter donation.
Juniper is a loving, affectionate, extroverted 2.5 year old Pitbull/Boston Terrier mix who is the biggest people-loving dog you'll ever meet! Juniper and her three 8-week old puppies were on the euthanasia list at our local shelter and we just knew we had to pull them. Mama Juni has been the sweetest girl and shows her gratitude and zest for life every day!
Juniper is a little mama at only 40lbs and she uses her pint-sized status as an excuse to identify as a lap dog. Her favorite thing to do is be snuggled up to her people all day long. This girl is more than ready to leave the mom life behind and get to be a puppy again herself! She has gotten more and more playful each day as her puppies grow more independent from her. Juni absolutely loves other dogs and plays beautifully with everyone, even her tiny puppies! If you get caught giving attention to another dog, especially her puppies, she'll come over quick as can be to steal some of that away! Juni is such an affectionate dog and loves everyone she meets. We're honestly not sure how she made it on the streets for so long, being as friendly as she is!
Juniper is good with other dogs, kids, and people of all kind and would love to have a canine companion to live with, but she wouldn't mind being the only pup as well Juniper currently has a minor ongoing medical issue with one of her eyes that should be cleared up within a few weeks at which point she will be able to be transported to other states for adoption. We are currently accepting out of state applications for this girl for when her eye is all better!
Juniper is located in Houston TX but can be transported to most US states for adoption.
