What is Rehome?
If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
Jack is the coolest cat we've ever known. He's outgoing and loves everyone, demanding to be cuddled at every opportunity.
We took Jack on when our mother had to go into nursing care, but our roommates have a senior dog with cat issues and we have to find a new home for Jack. It breaks our hearts, and we are desperate to avoid surrendering him to a shelter.
Jack isn't one to hide under the bed when company comes over. He will demand scratches and hugs from anyone he meets. Aside from being almost dog-like in his affection, Jack is playful, quiet and very tidy. Never makes a mess of his litter box. He has lived with other cats and small dogs without issue, though we don't know how he would be with large dogs. He is an indoor cat, but loves going for walks on leash to explore the neighbourhood.
He is microchipped, neutered and current on all vaccines. No serious known health issues, though he does have a tendency to sinus infections, that occasionally require antibiotics.
