For Adopt a Pet and the PEDIGREE® brand, October is all about finding homes for dogs in shelters. Adopt this month for a PEDIGREE® Wet Food Pouch and a chance to win a Homecoming-style photo shoot and shelter donation.
This helps Humane Society of Macomb with pet care costs.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Luna is a 2 year old husky that is uncertain of most things in life and needs a patient person that is able to give her positive experiences to new people, places and things. She loves other dogs! It is a requirement that there needs to be another dog in the home prior to adoption. If there is not a dog already, adopt her and another dog! She will take some time to come out of her shell, but having another dog in the home to watch and follow around will speed the decompression process up! Since being in her foster home, we have noticed that she does like woman more and it will take her some time longer with men. She is the silliest girl and loves to sleep on the couch and zoom around the backyard! She absolutely will need supervision outside because she does have an escape history. She would not do well with children under the age of 12 years old, but we can do a meet with older children and see if she likes them! Luna is currently in a foster home and not at the shelter, so we cannot do walk-ins with her. If you think you have the time and patience and love for Luna Tuna, please contact us and set up your first meet with her!Thank you for showing an interest in our pets. We can never guarantee the breeds of the animals. We do not DNA test. Please feel free to call us with any questions.
