Visit the Facility and Find a Pet

Come to the shelter or any of our adoption events to find your new pet.

2.

Take the Pet Home

We have a "staycation" program where you take your selected pet home for 10 days to ensure they are the perfect fit.

3.

Sign Adoption Contract

After the 10 days you can finalize the adoption by coming back to the shelter or with an online payment. We will mail you all records.

If you already have a pet a meet and greet is required. This is to ensure the safety of both animals and families.

We are a high intake shelter located in rural Chester, South Carolina. We are dedicated to finding families for the dogs and cats in our care. We work tirelessly to rehome all the animals by networking our pets and partnering with rescue organizations. Benefits of adopting from the Chester County Animal Control
