My name is TJ!

Meet TJ! This short and squat hound mix came into the Shelter with his two littermates. His previous guardian was unable to continue caring for them and brought them into the home to find a great home. TJ lived with cats, his littermates and a large breed dog in the previous home. He was described as good with the resident dogs and cats. When strangers would come over, TJ would bark to alert that they were there but would then warm up. TJ has also been around children from ages 1 years old to teenagers. TJ is still perfecting house training and will need a patient adopter to help him get there. From 10/5 through 10/31, we are having a “Spooky Low Adoption Fees” promotion. All cats, kittens, dogs, and puppies will have a reduced adoption fee of $31, while small animals will have a fee of $13. No tricks, all treats!

Come on in to meet your new BFF today at 1001 Rodriguez Street, Santa Cruz from 11-6pm. All adoptions are first come, first serve in person at the Shelter, and must be completed before 4:45pm.
