Here's what the humans have to say about me:
IDGSR Welcomes RANGER into the safety of the rescue!!
THIS DOG IS FOSTERED IN TENNESSEE & AVAILABLE FOR TRANSPORT
**************
Hiya! My name is Ranger and I'm a beautiful black and tan German Shepherd boy who is 4 to 6 months old. I'm located in TN and am available for transport.
Here are some fun facts about me & my ideal home!
1. My brother Forest (adoptable) and I were rescued from an animal cruelty situation and are super happy to be in the safety of IDGSR!
2. We were completely failed by our previous owner and not given any education. So we’re both pretty rambunctious, especially when we’re together and we play off of each other's energy. So the rescue has separated us and is teaching us self-control and manners. If you look at the video in my brother Forest post, you’ll see how we started out versus how much I’ve calmed down now!.
3. My paw-fect home would be with a strong mom or dad that’s active and has German Shepherd dog training experience. They must agree to continue my training so I can learn manners and be a paw-fect gentleman. I’ve got tremendous potential cuz I’m smart and athletic. With the right training, I’m going to be an amazing dog.
4. I’m going to need a big fenced yard and/or a very active owner that will help me burn off some of my puppy energy. I have a LOT of it!
4. I’m still young so I can learn to be friendly with just about anything and anyone. But I probably wouldn’t be very gentle with small children at first, so it’d be better for me to stick with older kids.
5. If you are looking for an active, intelligent, strong, loyal companion with the potential to be the most amazing dog, I’m. your guy!
