My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello out there! My name is Dominic and I'm a super snuggly wee lad. I'm only 5 months old and am bonded with my brother Simon who is up for his big op this week! I have the softest most luxurious coat you can imagine, as does my bro. We were received by Cowichan Cat Rescue with our gorgeous Momma- Gigi at just 1 week of age and fostered in a loving, compassionate home. We are typical 5-month-olds that love to interact with Foster Mom and run the legs off each other in play! My brother is Simon and I'd like to be adopted with him please. We both sport medium length coats and are indoor only kitties. Too scary out there! I've had my big op and brother Simon is up this week. At adoption we will have out first set of shots and full parasite control both in and out! Should you be seeking a fantastic pair of brothers look no further-- you've found us!!! If you'd like to arrange a meet n greet please review the process and policies of adoption at cowichancatrescue.org and check out our FVB Page then submit your application! We are perfect fluffballs just waiting to meet you!

Additional adoption info

Our kittens are adopted out through meet and greet events by appointment to approved adopters at our local Boselys store where we have a room for social distancing. Please see our Facebook page for more info .Prospective adopters are interviewed by our volunteers and a brief virtual home visit is always conducted prior to adoption completion .Cost is $300. All kittens are vet checked spay/neutered, given their first vaccinations, and treated for parasites before adoption.

Cats and kittens not suitable for adoption through the various events are adopted out directly from the foster homes. Cost may vary depending on the special needs of the kitten.

More about this rescue

Cowichan Cat Rescue is a federally registered charity, entirely staffed by volunteers and funded by donations, operating a trap, neuter, and return program (TNR) for feral cats in the Cowichan Valley since 1999. We take in all kittens found young enough to socialize, foster them until they are spayed/neutered and vaccinated, and then adopt them out to forever homes. We also try to find barn and warehouse homes for feral cats which must be relocated due to loss of habitat or problems with property owners.

Find out more about us and our programs on our website at www.cowichancatrescue.org or visit us on our Facebook page.
