My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Suni 7001
Many times, when the photographer wishes to take pictures of siblings interacting together, the pups decide they would much rather be exploring and frolicking independently. In this bark park visit, Suni and her sister Simone responded with almost inseparable aerobics as they toured the expanse of the park with galvanizingly inspirational teamwork. Both sisters showed off their fun-loving camaraderie as they danced, pranced, and shared joyful smiles that invited the human to join in their bark park ballet. Their puppy energies are nicely balanced, and they are both quiet and courteous pups who are amazingly responsive to the wishes of the human. The only contrast in their behaviors was Suni’s love of a hop into the doggy wading pool while Simone chose to comfortably watch from the bleachers. They are both up for adoption, either singularly or in concert. Come on down to the Humane Society in Rogers, AR where Suni and Simone will demonstrate their consummate puppy life skill sets.

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

Our adoption fee is $70 which covers all the basic shots and worming medications appropriate for the age of the animal as well as the required spaying or neutering. If the animal is too young to be neutered, a voucher is presented to the adopter to cover the process at a participating vet. Rabies shots are not included. We have an application process in which we ask basic questions to insure that you and the chosen pet are a good match for each other. We do require a vet reference. If you have been arrested and convicted of animal abuse or neglect, you will not be considered for adoption. If you do not own your home, a letter from the landlord giving permission to have a pet is required. Local ordinances regarding maximum numbers of pets shall be observed. All other household pets must be spayed or neutered. All pets are adopted "as is." Should the pet not work out after you take it home, we ask that you return the animal to us for re-homing. We want each animal to find a loving forever home and reserve the right to refuse any application should the individual needs of the chosen animal not be in that dog's best interest. Contact our office for inquiries and applications.

More about this shelter

The Humane Society for Animals is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization that provides for the welfare of dogs and cats in Benton County through shelter and adoption services, spaying and neutering vouchers, and humane education.
The Humane Society for Animals has held over 90,000 animals since it originally opened in 1972. Our facility at 1st and Nursery Rd. was built in 1980 and continuously houses a total of around 85 dogs and 20 cats. Most of our cats and dogs are strays that have been dumped or abandoned. Others come from local animal control agencies and from people who can no longer care for them, that live in the county. We offer the public numerous opportunities either to donate or get involved. Please contact us to see how you can help.
