My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

I'm soft and beautiful, and I love being around people in a fairly quiet environment. I'm a sweet and delicate soul that will be cautious around you at first. If I don't know you well, I may hiss, but won't stop you from softly petting me and enjoying it. I LOVE HAVING CAT BUDDIES AROUND! I'll even cuddle with my brother Zodiac. I like having toys around to play with, playing is fun and it helps me relax. I enjoy having soft beds and blankets around the house. My favorite thing to do is sit up high off the floor and jump from shelf to shelf here. That would make a cat tree perfect for me at my house! I enjoy getting treats and sometimes I will even take them from you if you hold one out at a time! Sweet talk to me, play with our wand toys with me to have fun, and I will quickly learn that you really do love me and I can relax and be my sweet, wonderful self!

More about this shelter

The Colony Animal Services strives to protect andTCAS LOGO-UPDATED nurture The City of The Colony’s lost, homeless, abused, injured, and sick pets. We seek to provide animals the opportunity to be reclaimed, adopted, rehabilitated, or rescued. It is the mission for the Animal Service Officers and volunteers to pursue a positive synergy and to serve the citizens and pets of The Colony.

Animal Services is committed to saving each and every animal that comes into our care. Over the last few years, we have improved our live release rate to 97%. We hold our standards high at keeping this percentage, and in doing so, we ask our rescue partners and citizens to help us pursue finding our animals forever homes.

Every year, we get over a hundred injured and sick animals that need our help. In order for us to help them, we use our donated medical fund to give them the proper care and treatment they need. The only way for us to provide this needed medical care is through our generous financial donors. Every penny donated is sent to our medical fund. Please help us continue this much needed medical care for our animals by donating. Even if you cannot donate, it is a huge help to share posts on social media.
