Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Wilbur was born on June 26. He and his mom and siblings came to us when he was 5 weeks old. Wilbur is a blue tick beagle (with maybe a little Basset in him). His mom weighed about 17 pounds. We don't know who dad was, but he will probably be a smaller or small medium dog.

Wilbur and his siblings all know how to use the doggie door to go in and out. They all love to play - and LOVE children. He loves to play and run but also loves to snuggle and get belly rubs. They are all a work in progress with house training, but are really trying. Wilbur loves a good snack - green beans with chicken and cheese, bananas, carrots sometimes, etc.
Wilbur is an absolute dream of a puppy and will be a terrific addition to the right family.

Wilbur and his siblings are available with a pre-approved application and a scheduled visit.

Augusta Dog Adoptions is a 501c3, foster-based rescue. We take applications online and schedule adoptions in Waynesboro, VA. A $175.00 adoption fee ($300 for puppies under 6 months old) helps us take care of all the dogs we rescue. All dogs are spayed/neutered, tested for heartworm and tick borne diseases (if old enough), microchipped, and vaccinated for rabies (if old enough), distemper/parvo and bordetella. They are also treated for internal and external parasites. Many dogs also receive extensive medical care such as dental work and major surgeries.
