Reason for Foster: Facial Swelling/Wound

Foster Time Frame: 1 Week

Foster Care Plan: Paka is being treated for a wound and swelling on her nose. She will go home with medication and will have a recheck with the medical team in 1 week to hopefully be cleared for adoption.

Foster to Adopt Program: Paka is available through our Foster to Adopt program, which allows pets awaiting or undergoing medical treatment to be placed with prospective adopters before they are made available for adoption. In addition to pet adoptions and lifesaving medical care, our programs provide foster care for vulnerable animals, resources for pet parents, affordable veterinary services for community pets, a pet food pantry and volunteer opportunities.
