My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sadie is the kind of pup that brings a smile to everyone's face. She's a bundle of energy, always darting around the yard with a wagging tail and a joyful bark. She's a smart cookie too-she's got "sit," "shake," and "down" mastered like a pro. Sadie's got a knack for picking up new tricks quickly, which makes training sessions a breeze. Even though she's super friendly and loves hanging out with people, she's also pretty independent. Give her a toy, and she can keep herself entertained for hours.

When it comes to treats, Sadie is not picky at all. Whether it's a juicy meaty treat or a crunchy dog biscuit, she's always ready for a snack. She's got a warm and welcoming personality that helps her adjust to new places and people without any fuss. Sadie's the perfect mix of playful and loving, making her the best furry friend anyone could ask for.

Reason for Foster: Swelling between toes

Foster Time Frame: 1-2 Weeks

Foster Care Plan: Sadie recently had a vet exam due to swelling between her toes on her right front paw. X-rays were taken and we are waiting for her results to determine the best care plan for this sweet girl going forward. She will go home with medication and will have a recheck with the medical team.

Foster to Adopt: Sadie is available through our Foster to Adopt program, which allows pets awaiting or undergoing medical treatment to be placed with prospective adopters before they are made available for adoption. If you are interested in becoming a foster, please visit https://www.operationkindness.org/foster/ or email us at foster@operationkindness.org to learn more.
