My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Baja and Blast are a bonded pair of young chinchillas. They were less than a year old upon surrender in September 2024. Their parents had been surrendered to a chain pet store and a kind soul took them home, with the female already pregnant. They could not keep all of the babies, so these brothers came to us to find a new home!

Baja is a standard grey, Blast is beige. Both are friendly and used to being handled. Like most chinchillas, they can take a little bit of coaxing to warm up to new people, but quickly started begging for treats and playtime in their foster home. Chinchillas typically do not like being picked up or held, but these boys tolerate it well and will hang out in your arms for short periods of time before they get restless and want to explore instead.

Blast is a bit more outgoing than his brother and always first to the door for treats and scritches. Baja is never far behind, though!

We are able to meet for adoptions within 1 hour of Minneapolis, MN. Potentially further, please inquire and we can discuss!
