My name is Estefania D17831!

Hi! My name is Estefania and I am from Missouri.

From her foster: Estefania is quite a mouth full to say so we have been calling her Eden and she responds well to that. She is going to be such a fun dog with the right family. Right now she is learning what a house is and all the noises that happen in a house, like a garbage disposal and vacuum. While these things give her pause she is acclimating to them.

She loves our resident dog and is most confident when he's around. The cats were very curious creatures to begin with which induced some "beagle barks" as the resident kid calls them. She now steers clear of them most of the time.

Since she is a bit timid she would do best in a house with older, quieter kids. She allows the resident kids to pet her at bedtime but she tends to stay hidden when they are moving about or too loud. She loves to rearrange their stuffed animals around the house. She has a silly, playful streak that is starting to shine. When it's bedtime she prefers to be in bed with her adults because it's so cozy. The kennel is a scary place which we are working to overcome. She is currently working on potty training too. We take her out on a leash but she isn't a huge fan of being on a leash yet so having a fenced yard where she can take the lead would help speed up the process. She loves people but is still learning to trust. She is going to be an amazing companion with a little patience.
