WHAT MY FOSTER SAYS: This Winter, adopt yourself the perfect pittie weighted blanket. It's being offered in white with the oh so adorable brown eye patch. It goes by the name of Heather and it is sure to never have you feeling alone or cold again.
Heather is a love, a total and complete love. Her whole demeanor seems to suggest she knows how close she came to not making it out of the shelter (Heather was on the euthanasia list) and she's not about to take a thing for granted, as she endlessly snuggles her people, finding comfort in their presence. She's not a Velcro dog per se, but her ideal radius away from her person averages around 12 feet. To this end, her perfect future home is one where someone works from home and can help her through some understandable confidence issues, the kind that come when you've been discarded and the world's failed you.
Heather is low energy, quiet, and housebroken. She's being fostered with 3 young children under the age of 7 and she took to them instantly. She's been nothing but gentle with the kids, not to mention incredibly tolerant, especially of the toddler who is squarely in her tantrum era. Heather's also living with a resident male dog, who naturally matches her energy, though it took her a few days to fully relax with him. Now, you can often find them sleeping next to one another, with someone invariably using a booty as their pillow.
Heather's also a pleasure to walk and is definitely not looking to log steps. She does her business, has some sniffies, and...SQUIRREL...okay, she's back, ready to lead you home for some couch time.
