For Adopt a Pet and the PEDIGREE® brand, October is all about finding homes for dogs in shelters. Adopt this month for a PEDIGREE® Wet Food Pouch and a chance to win a Homecoming-style photo shoot and shelter donation.
This helps Humane Animal Partners - Stanton/Christiana with pet care costs.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
This gorgeous girl is Zya! She was surrendered to us when her owner could no longer keep her. Dogs that have lived in homes previously typically have some training established, but we cannot guarantee that those behaviors will remain consistent in a new home environment. Zya appears to know a few basic commands such as sit and paw. She lived in a home with two other dogs, Nikos and Nevin, that were surrendered with her. Although she can be a shy girl, she loves to give hugs and kisses, as well as try to make some new doggy friends. Zya is still learning how to socialize, so she would benefit best from someone who is willing to be patient and understanding with her while she adapts to her surroundings. If you are looking for a sweet, smart, and beautiful girl to take home and love forever, Zya could be the one for you!

Additional adoption info
Our adoption process is designed to help you and your family find the perfect match in a pet. When the right match is made, we strive to conduct our adoptions thoughtfully, transparently, and with the utmost respect. You can view and submit an adoption questionnaire online ahead of your visit by going to our website: humaneanimalpartners.org. A questionnaire is not required to come visit us, but we will have you fill one out if interested in meeting with our animals. We strive to make the best match possible for you and for the animals. Most of our pets can go home same-day and come vaccinated, spay/neutered, and microchipped.
