My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Mufasa, a 4-year-old orange tabby with a heart as golden as his fur! Mufasa has a gentle nature and absolutely loves mealtime-whether it's wet food or kibble, he's in! This big guy is making progress every day, adjusting well to the cozy indoor life he truly deserves.

Though he was a bit shy at first, Mufasa took about two weeks to feel comfortable enough to venture out of his "safe room" for the whole day. When he feels nervous, he'll head back there, but he's slowly building confidence. He loves looking out the window and enjoys the company of other cats, showing zero aggression-just pure love! Although he's not interested in toys just yet, he's happy to simply be part of a home.

Mufasa has tested positive for FIV, but don't let that worry you. FIV-positive cats can live long, healthy lives, and he'd make an amazing companion, especially for someone with other easygoing cats. If you're looking for a laid-back, sweet-hearted friend who's happy to watch the world go by from a sunny window, Mufasa is your guy!

Stop in and meet my cute self in person during our adoption hours.

I hope to meet you soon!

Our cats and kittens go home spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on core
vaccines, flea, and tick preventatives. Their adoption also includes a free-vet exam at one of
our participating veterinarians.
