For Adopt a Pet and the PEDIGREE® brand, October is all about finding homes for dogs in shelters. Adopt this month for a PEDIGREE® Wet Food Pouch and a chance to win a Homecoming-style photo shoot and shelter donation.
Don't worry we have her cape! Wonder Woman looks good even out of her superhero costume. She is a super playful puppy. Anything could be a toy to Wonder Woman. Food should be played with, squeakers should get head tilts, and requests for a sit should get a dance move first. She has an answer for everything, and they are all funny. Wonder Woman has many superpowers, listening isn't one of them (yet). Good thing she is so darn cute!
Came in as a stray on 9/3/24.
Found near 4100 W Carroll, Chicago
Adoptions are walk-in 12-6 daily at 2741 S. Western Ave. Chicago, IL
Email visitcacc@cityofchicago.org for more information.
The building is open 12-7 daily and adoptions end one hour before closing. All visitors 18 and older must have a government issued ID.
All household members should be present to meet dogs (especially those under 18 and any decision-makers). We recommend and can arrange dog to dog meet and greets for your current dog to meet a potential dog sibling at the shelter. You will need to show proof of up to date rabies vaccination for your dog or dogs.
Slow, cautious, and appropriate introductions are recommended after you allow time for decompression for the shelter dog.
