Meet Charity! (Known as Lola) She's a sweet, cattle dog, approximately 14 months old! Charity is good with other dogs - in fact may even prefer them. She is friendly, smart and potty trained. So what's the catch, right? Well, Charity is all Cattle Dog. She needs an active lifestyle and someone who is able to provide both mental and physical stimulation. Experience with the breed is a must. She also cannot be around small animals, like cats and chickens. She has a high prey drive. With that said, if you are willing to provide some structure, continued training and a busy/active lifestyle to this young lady, she would fit perfectly in your home.

We place the dogs in the best home not the first home. Please be patient while we go over all apps and we will be in touch.

We are foster based. You must apply on Crossyourpaws.com first. If your application is chosen as the best fit for the dog we will move forward with the approval process. Once approved you will be setup with a time to meet the dog. Our dogs are all over the greater Pittsburgh area.

Here at Cross Your Paws Rescue, we are driven by a single goal; to save lives. We are doing our part in making the world a better place for all pets. Our decision to start a rescue is not one that we have taken lightly, it has come after years of volunteer work with other groups. Our goal is to make this world a place where starving, abused animals is a thing of the past. That shelters filled with dogs and cats waiting to be euthanized is unheard of. We want euthanasia to be something to help pets on their way to the Rainbow bridge not to end lives because of overpopulation. We vow to save every life that we can.
