Meet Alejandra, your future giant cuddle buddy! This sweet girl is eager to be with her family and is an attentive listener.
When Alejandra first arrived, she was a bit underweight and needed some TLC. It’s been heartwarming to witness her transformation into a happy, energetic dog who’s now thriving.
Alejandra is incredibly affectionate; she loves resting her beautiful face against your legs, encouraging endless pets and love. She’s not overly interested in toys, but she’s motivated by treats and enjoys working for them.
This calm giant has charming flashes of puppy energy, making every moment with her special. She’s loving and knows how to communicate her needs effectively.
Alejandra is learning commands like “stay,” and she’s making progress with “sit” and “down.” While she could use some leash training since she tends to pull, she is fully potty trained and will clearly signal when it’s time to go outside.
She’s great about going into her crate for naps and has even enjoyed relaxing in our office behind a baby gate.
Alejandra is wonderful with children—my 6-year-old loves to walk her (with supervision, of course). This gentle giant is ready to bring joy and love to her forever family!
Alejandra was rescued from a high kill shelter in Texas.
Alejandra has tested positive for Heartworm. Treatment will be covered at one of our partner veterinarians.
Alejandra is a Parvo survivor! This sweet girl has bad luck and caught Parvo before coming into our care. She has since tested negative and has done well recovering!
Meet and greets are by appointment only. An approved application is required to schedule a meeting. Check out our events page for upcoming open adoption events!
We have no additional back story or update for this dog at this time. When we do, it will be updated here. This is all the information we have currently.
