Meet Brandon!
This adorable little panther is ready to pounce into your heart! Brandon is a 5-month-old black kitten with the cutest lone black toe on one of his hind legs, long black whiskers, and a purr that could melt glaciers.
Brandon has already proven he's a brave little warrior – twice! He was discovered mewing under a car at the ice rink in Brandon, FL – that’s where his name comes from! After being rescued, it was discovered that he had an inguinal hernia and surgery was needed. Thanks to expert veterinary care and his own fighting spirit, he's made a great recovery. He does have a small ball of fat on his lower belly as a result of the surgery - we like to call it his special "battle scar" that makes him unique!
After his recovery, Brandon decided he hadn’t had quite enough adventure in his young life and had a tussle with his foster family’s husky which resulted in an overnight stay at the vet and a small cut on his right leg. Brandon’s belly bump and paw wound doesn't slow him down at all. He's as playful and energetic as any kitten. The vet has cleared him for normal activities, and he makes the most of playtime!
Despite his rough start, Brandon is a ball of joy! He loves chasing toy mice, batting at dangling feathers, and curling up in warm laps for nap time. He prefers his toys to be soft and quiet. His favorite pastime? Perching on the windowsill, where he alternates between peaceful naps in the sun and excited chittering at the lizards outside.
While Brandon is a social butterfly with humans and other felines, he is understandably weary around dogs. He would thrive best in a dog-free household where he can feel completely secure. He would love a kitty companion to help him burn off all his energy, or he would be content to be the king of his active home.
Brandon is fully litter box trained, up to date on vaccinations, and ready to be the perfect companion for the right family.
Are you ready to give this little survivor his forever home? Brandon promises a lifetime of love, laughter, and purrs in return!
