Kitty Bear is a super sweet guy--and a perfect advocate for FIV+ cats! He loves being around people and head butting to let you know he wants pets. While he sometimes acts his age by lounging around, his younger side is activated when you bring out a wand toy.

He has been great around the kids in his foster home, even letting them pick him up carry him around. He takes one daily medication wrapped in a treat, but otherwise lives life like any other cat.

Adoption fee of $25 includes spay/neuter, FIV and FELV combo test, up-to-date rabies and distemper vaccinations, deworming treatments, flea treatments, and microchip.

More about this rescue

Shadow Cats TNR (SCTNR) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to assisting animals in need. Our mission is to establish and manage programs for the welfare of community cats, companion animals, and pet owners needing assistance, in collaboration with other community partners, rescue groups and shelters.

We specialize in controlling the community cat population through Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR). As a result of the TNR process, we often acquire, along with feral cats, friendly and semi-friendly cats and kittens. We work to place these cats into appropriate homes through our adoption and barn cat programs. SCTNR seeks to educate the public on the importance of spaying/neutering all pets as well as controlling the cat populations in our county.
