My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

**ONLY AVAILABLE AT OUR 10/5 ADOPTION EVENT IN WINCHESTER**

Adoptable in: MA, RI, NH, CT, and VT

Good with dogs: Yes
Good with cats: Yes, dog savvy cats
Good with kids: Yes
Crate trained: Mostly
House Trained: Working on it

Fendi is an adorable little terrier mix. She enjoys a lot of time lounging and looking cute. Short walks to exercise and smell the flowers are sufficient for Fendi. She is not going to play fetch but will make a wonderful companion as a lap dog.

Fendi likes going shopping and riding around in the shopping cart getting attention from other shoppers. She falls hard for her person and is a devoted follower of the one she loves.

Fendi has been fostered in home with a very selective family dog. She gets along well with the dog and has been accepted into the household without any issues. She has met numerous other dogs while out and about on adventures with her foster. She is very well-socialized. She has also been fostered in a home with a cat with no problems. She has met children and was fine, although she would not enjoy being with kids that want to run and play with her.

Fendi will go in her crate for meals and is fine so long as she is within sight of her person. She is not a fan of being left alone while crated at the moment. She is working on house training but needs time and patience to perfect it. She would love a home where her owner is home more often than not as she loves to have company.

More about this rescue

Our mission at Last Hope K9 Rescue is to save every possible dog we can from being euthanized within high-volume kill shelters throughout the U.S.

As the literal “last hope” of nearly every animal we serve, we work tirelessly to place each one within a stable, loving environment that can act as either their forever home, or the gateway to their forever home. We also strive to ensure that all of our adoptions and foster placements are the optimal fit for everyone involved, including our dogs. This leads to our second goal: enriching human lives through canine companionship. To us, you can’t have one without the other.

Lastly, we promote animal welfare by lobbying important initiatives that both protect and give voice to the voiceless. By fostering an environment of collaboration with other organizations that share our goals, and working together instead of in competition, we find that we accomplish more.
