My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

- Professionally suns himself in baskets by windows. It's an art form.

- Secretly LOVES ear scratches but will play it cool like, "Oh, are you still doing that? Fine."

- Expert blanket burrito connoisseur. You'll often find him wrapped up like a purrito, watching TV and soaking up some prime-time cuddles.

- Lives with his brothers, Kramer and Jerry (no, seriously). They’ve got sitcom-worthy antics, but George likes to think he’s the lead character.

- A little shy at first but once he's warmed up? Prepare yourself for playful pounces and endless cuteness.

- Learning the ropes with six (yes, SIX) foster dogs around. Could totally fit in with cat-friendly pups!

Adopt George and add a dash of charm, a sprinkle of sass, and a whole lot of cuddles to your life. Just don't tell him I said he's a softie for TV cuddles.

Additional adoption info

We don't have a facility, so we screen applicants thoroughly before we set up a meet and greet. We conduct a vet check, reference check and a home check. We typical set up the meet at the adoptive home so the home check can be completed at the same time. If both parties agree the pup is a good fit we complete the adoption agreement and accept the adoption fee.

More about this rescue

We are tackling the problem one animal at a time. Ayla’s Acres No-Kill Animal Rescue is a St. Augustine, Florida-based 501(c)(3) supporting adoption, spay and neuter, and responsible care of animals. Along with education, outreach, and adoption and fostering programs, Ayla’s Acres also maintains a 45-acre sanctuary where “unadoptable” animals may live out their lives with peace, love, and dignity.
