My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Natalie! Natalie is a special cat who has Cerebellar Hypoplasia, also known as "Wobbly Cat Syndrome". This means that while she behaves like a normal kitty, she has a slight tremble and is prone to clumsiness, but she still loves to play! This gorgeous gal can be shy at first, but as she gets to know you, she enjoys playing with a string toy, laying on her back for belly rubs, and exploring! Due to her clumsiness, Natalie would like a home where all her family members are 6 or older. Natalie has the softest fur and a gentle demeanor that will have you smitten. If she sounds like the purrfect match for you, come meet her today!

❤️ Natalie has special needs due to her Cerebellar Hypoplasia

Natalie would do best in a home with:

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

Entry to the shelter is currently limited, and walk-ins are not permitted for general pet viewing. Masks are currently optional.

View our Available Pets page and select a few that you would like to meet. Then download an Adoption Application and fill it out prior to visiting our shelter. Our adoption process is a walk-up and queue-based, first-come, first-served system. You will have a meet and greet with an Adoption Counselor to discuss your application, review information on the pets you would like to meet, and you will be introduced to the pet(s).If the Meet and Greet is a success, staff will complete your adoption paperwork to make it official! If your new family member is already spayed/neutered, they will go home with you right away!

More about this shelter

Kitsap Humane Society is a private, nonprofit animal shelter. We rescue and rehome over 6000 pets each year. Every dog or cat leaves our shelter spayed or neutered and with complete vaccines and a microchip. We have been caring for animals in need since 1908 and envision a time when all adoptable pets have loving homes.

We are extremely proud of our exceptionally high “lives saved” rate of over 96%. Through our active adoption, behavior, foster, transfer, and veterinary programs, we are able to rehome every adoptable animal that enters our facility. No animal is ever euthanized for lack of space.

In addition to caring for and adopting animals, we also provide spay/neuter services to low income residents of Kitsap County, and provide Animal Rescue and Enforcement services to our surrounding municipalities.
