Big, beautiful and an absolute sweetheart what’s not to love about Sadie! She’s a showstopper at a large 70lbs and with that gorgeous plush coat. But looks aren’t her only positive. She loves everyone and everything. Yes that includes cats, dogs and kids! She’s an amazing gentle giant and the perfect family dog. All these things make her the perfect addition to our Pawsitive Change program at Tehachapi State Prison!

Can you believe such a fantastic dog was sitting in the shelter? Shepherds don’t get much of a chance in our local shelters. There are so many that adopters just pass them by. It’s a sad reality that many never make it out and after a month in our county shelter Sadie was almost one of those statistics. We are so thankful our rescue team noticed this sweet girl and Sadie got her break! Now we’re hoping the training she receives in Pawsitive Change will get her noticed by adopters.

Once Sadie has completed the 3 month long training she will be ready to have a home of her own. She’s ready for the human companionship every dog craves.
